What is included, and what comes on top?

Skipper, fuel within the agreed area, insurance, towels, safety equipment and cleaning are all inside the hourly rate. Food, drink, a chef and extra crew sit outside it.

That is the whole split. The rest of this is the reasoning, for anyone wondering why the line sits exactly there.

In the price

• A certified skipper who knows these waters
• Fuel within the area we agreed on
• Full insurance, which covers you while on board
• Towels, life vests and what you need to swim
• Cleaning before and after. You are not tidying up.

On top

• Food and drink, whether you bring your own or we arrange it
• A chef or a server
• Extra crew on long charters or larger parties
• Cruising beyond the agreed area

What "agreed cruising area" actually means

When we quote, a route sits behind the number. For four hours out of Aker Brygge that usually means the inner Oslo fjord. You can reach Drøbak and come back, but it will be mostly running time, and we say so before you decide.

This is not a trap with a fee at the end. It is how we stop anyone assuming they can fit Hvaler into an afternoon. If you want to go further we recalculate and you get the new price before you say yes.

Why food is not included

Because we would have to guess. And the guess always lands on the wrong person.

Put NOK 700 a head into the hourly rate and the group who brought a thermos and buns pays for a meal they never got. The group who wanted a chef gets a surprise anyway, because 700 does not cover a chef. Better to price what you order.

VAT, invoicing and payment

Quoted prices exclude VAT unless stated. We invoice once the charter is confirmed, with the payment terms on the invoice.

There is no payment system on the website. That is deliberate: a yacht charter is not something you buy with your thumb on a phone, it is an agreement with a price we have worked out. Vipps is fine by arrangement.

If something changes

If the charter is cancelled for wind and sea you get a new date or your money back. If you want to change numbers or length, tell us as early as you can and we adjust.

Everything agreed sits on your own page, linked from the email. The price, the time, the boat and any notes. Nothing we agreed exists only in a conversation.
