How it works

From request to casting off

Four steps, and a page of your own that follows you the whole way, from request to casting off.

01

You send a request

Pick a boat, a date and a time. If you are open to alternatives, tick the box and we will check the other boats at the same time.

02

You get an answer with a price

We confirm availability and send a fixed price to your own page. No hidden extras.

03

You confirm, we handle the rest

Once you accept, we assign a skipper and prepare the boat. You meet us at Stranden 32.

04

You go sailing

Meet the skipper at the quay. The boat is fuelled, cleaned and ready. You only have to step aboard.

Common questions

How far in advance should I book?

For summer weekends, as early as you can. June through August fills up. Outside peak season a couple of weeks is usually plenty. We answer every request either way, so it costs nothing to ask.

What is included in the price?

A professional skipper, fuel within the agreed cruising area, insurance, towels and safety equipment. Food, drink and extra crew are quoted separately so you only pay for what you actually want.

Can we bring our own food and drink?

Yes. You can also have us arrange catering or a chef on board. Mention it in your request and we will price it.

What happens if the weather is bad?

Safety is the skipper’s call. If conditions make the trip unsafe we will offer you a new date or cancel without charge. Rain alone is not usually a reason to cancel. Every boat has a proper indoor saloon.

Where do we meet?

Stranden 32 at Aker Brygge, in central Oslo, unless we have agreed something else. You will get the exact quay in your confirmation.

Can the boats be chartered outside Oslo?

Yes, anywhere along the Norwegian coast by arrangement. Tell us where and when in your request and we will work out what it takes.

How do I pay?

We send an invoice once the charter is confirmed. Payment terms are on the invoice.
