View the yachtTwelve guests, one boat, and nobody closing the place at eleven. Here is what to know before you decide.
You get availability and a fixed price back, from the people who own the boats. Most birthday on a yacht in oslo run about 4 hours.
A restaurant gives you a table. A boat gives you the whole place. That is the difference people notice first: no other guests, no music that is not yours, and no waiter starting to clear up around you.
Then there is the view, which moves. You can sit in one spot for four hours and still have seen the city from the water, the islands inside Nesodden, and the sun going down behind Bygdoy. Hard to arrange on land.
Twelve guests per boat. That is not a number we invented, it is the certificate. If you are fourteen, you either take two boats or cut two names, and it is better to know that now than the week before.
Twelve also works socially. Everyone can hear each other, and the party does not split into two camps at either end.
Four hours is the usual choice. It gives you time to get out, lie still somewhere for an hour, and come back without anyone watching the clock. Two hours works if you are going on into town afterwards. Six hours starts to be a day out, and then you need a plan for food.
You bring what you want. There is no galley on board and we do not pretend there is. Most people order from a caterer or shop themselves. There is cold storage, and the skipper helps get it aboard.
Alcohol is fine for guests. The skipper does not drink, for obvious reasons.
If it blows too hard, we cancel. The skipper makes that call, not you, and it costs you nothing. We would rather move the trip than have twelve people on board who are not enjoying it.
Us. We own all three boats, so there is no broker passing your question on to an owner you never meet. The price is ours, the answer is ours, and the person replying has been on board.
We own all three ourselves. One price, and the person answering you has been on board.

View the yachtUp to twelve guests per boat. The limit is set by the certificate, so it is not negotiable. If you are more, we can put two boats out together.
Yes. There is no galley on board, so most people order catering or shop themselves. There is cold storage, and the skipper helps get things aboard.
The skipper cancels, and it costs you nothing. We move the trip to another day. We do not go out with twelve guests in weather that makes it unpleasant.
Four hours is what most people choose. Two hours works if you are going on somewhere afterwards. Six or more should be planned around a meal.
Always. The boats are not chartered without one. The skipper drives, picks the route according to the weather, and otherwise stays out of the party.
